The hotel's location in the Candelaria neighborhood was marvelous, being so close to local restaurants, cafes, bars, attractions, and the museum. It was not too far from El Khalifa Shawarma, a great spot for dinner.

the location is right in front of a university and within walking distance to Bolívar square, restaurants, markets, and coffee shops. the hotel felt secure with locks, security cameras, and a 24-hour front security guard. the room, though small, was clean and offered good value for money. the staff, Sandra and Jose, were amazing and very helpful, even with my limited Spanish. the wifi internet connection was excellent, and I had no issues with work meetings. a great stay!
Nothing, all was good 👍

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and had a lovely ambiance, perfect for senior people looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior guests, with convenient amenities and facilities that catered to their needs.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or entertainment options available specifically tailored for senior guests.

Located just 6.9 km from the thrilling El Campin Stadium, our family had a fantastic time at Hostal Dona Eliza. The property's unique charm and character of the La Candelaria area really added to our experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot water showers after a long day out exploring. The shared kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to prepare meals for the kids. The location was perfect, with easy access to museums, restaurants, and convenience stores. We will definitely be staying here again!
For dads, it would be great to have a small playground for the kids.

The garden at the hostel was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It felt like stepping into a peaceful oasis amidst the chaos, where I could relax and recharge before exploring Bogota.
Damp smell in room.
